Creating any friendship as an adult can be tough, being a woman and creating female friendships can be even trickier. I’ve certainly navigated my fair share of tricky female relationships and I’m also proud to say I have a lot of girl friends…
Birth has been on my mind because, well, number two is right around the corner, I have tons of friends that are pregnant or who have just had babies, January tends to be a month of planning and manifesting and my birth is one of the greatest manifestations I’ve created to date.
Happy New Year! We’re a few weeks into 2023, how are you feeling? Are you excited about a fresh year? Did you come into 2023 guns-a-blazing ready to create what you want in the new year? Or are you taking things slow?
As we’re all preparing for the end of the year, perhaps you’re in a frenzy to wrap up last minute projects, finish your holiday shopping or maybe you’ve got everything handled and you’re relaxing with friends and family.

My son and I take our dog to the park four or five times a week. It’s a short walk. Jackson loves to play in the open field just as much as our dog, Farley, does. Typically, when we’re ready to go, I’ll hoist Jackson into the carriage seat, I hand him his snack and off we go.

My son's first word was ball and ever since that first word was uttered out of his mouth he’s said it thousands of times. He finds all our dog’s balls in the backyard, he loves basketballs, tennis balls, anything that looks like a ball – an orange, an apple, you name it “ball, ball, ball”.
As I sat down to write my blog post this week, a post about feeling down felt relevant and honestly a little odd. It felt relevant because it’s been on my heart for weeks now as I’ve had quite a few intimate conversations with dear friends who have recently confided in me that they were feeling really down, dare I say the “D” word; depressed.

We’ve made it past the peak of the Great Resignation, and quiet quitting was all the buzz in 2022, so what does the corporate landscape look like so far in 2023?
